Today (Thursday) was day 3 of Ava's swimming class. SHE DID AMAZING. There were no tears just a little sass as she walked down the steps to her swim instructor. It was kind of cloudy and gross outside so we worked fast until the lightning meter said the risk was too high. She got in about 10 minutes of class before that so we got to see the improvement---but the good part about the class being cut short is that she now gets another make up class next week. So really it's 6 days of swimming instead of 5. :) While she was swimming to the steps she had her hands out in front of her and was a kicking fool. The instructor didn't even touch her 3 of the 4 times she got to do it. When we got out of the water she said "Mommy no more swimming?" so I explained to her that the weather was dangerous and that we would come back tomorrow. So in 2 year old fashion she sat her little hiney on a chair and said "wait for weather get better 'Dava' (her nickname for herself) wants to swim" So we waited.....and it got worse. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. :)
