I know something you don't know.....

Happy 17 weeks! Today I went for my ultrasound to see if my placenta has moved upwards....and the answer is......absolutely not. :( BUT the doctor that was in on my ultrasound said he doesn't see any reason why I won't be able to do low impact exercises which made my day....

I go to MY doctor tomorrow to find out what this means to him. Til then, we wait.

Michael and I also found out the sex of the baby....we won't be sharing that til Thanksgiving but just so you can sit and wonder for a bit I thought I'd tell you. :) Mean? Maybe....but i'm sure either way no one will be disappointed. :) Girl? Boy? What's it look like? :) 

So here's a little bit about our little monkey. His/Her skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone and the umbilical cord is growing stronger and thicker. Babycenter.com says he/she weighs about 5 ounces now(the size of a turnip) but our little one is at about 8.3 ounces so she or he is much bigger then a turnip. Half a pound already?! Ahhhhh!!! It also says that he/she is around 5 inches long from head to bottom. The tech didn't tell me how long the baby was, but i'm guessing since it's 3 oz's over where it should be he/she is bigger then that. The baby can now also move his/her joints and the sweat glands have started to develop.
I'll write a quick little update tomorrow and let you all know what the doctor says about my silly placenta. It won't be bedrest so that i'm thankful for. :) Now.....how to decorate for a little _____!!! :) hehehehehehehe (that's my evil laugh)
