Week 26: An English Holthouse Cucumber?!?!?

Hi everyone! :)
Sorry this is a bit late this week, but that would be the brain of a pregnant woman for you....
So how is everyone?!?! Good? FABULOUS!
We're doing good over here. Just kinda counting down because if you haven't noticed we are now 97 (almost 96) days away from meeting our beautiful little angel!!!

I'm SOOOO EXCITED!!

So much to do before she comes---find a house, pack, move, buy a car, buy some baby stuff (yay!), go to some baby classes---i'm sure there's more, but that's the gist of our next 3 months!!
Thankfully I have the best husband in the world who is trying to keep things as stress free as possible for me. (and if you know me at all, you know that is quite a task---Good job bubba! So far, so good!)
Anyways, what's going on with Little Miss Ava Mae....
The network of nerves in her little ears is better developed and more sensitive than before.
She may now be able to hear my voice and Mike's which is nice because not to embarrass him or anything but it definitely makes me smile when he talks to our little lady.
Now he can make her smile too!! :)
She's also inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of her gorgeous little lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when she's born (in 97 days or so!!!!) and takes that first gulp of air.
She is still putting on some baby fat and weighs about a pound and two thirds....
She is about 14 inches in length or the size of an English holthouse cucumber...hmmmm.

I may have to stop the fruit/veggie analogies soon if they keep being this silly.
She's big and she jumps around a lot...that's all that I know.
Ok well I hope you all have a FABULOUS English Holthouse Cucumber week!! haha
We miss you and LOVE you.
Love,
Rachel (and Mike)
PS: I will send a new bump picture every other week....if there are problems with this then please comment and I will see what I can do! :)
