Greyson is now 5 months old as of last week. I really can't believe how fast time is flying. Next month he will be half a year old...how did that happen? It's almost time to start planning his 1st birthday!! (I kid, I kid.....kinda) He is such a little person now....we have cut back on his reflux medicine to pretty much an as needed basis which means in the past week he's had it once. :) And that was probably because Mommy ate half a cheese pizza. As you can see I've started introducing dairy back into my diet too---I try not to go too crazy yet, but it seems like it has a minimal effect on him. Even when I pig out on cheese pizza. (oops!) I'm thankful for that because he's much happier and honestly almost 5 months of NO dairy was really starting to get old. :) He can now sit unsupported for short amounts of time which is nice because at his 5 month appointment our little linebacker weighed 22 pounds and was 27 3/4 inches long. That's over the 95% for weight and height. He seems to be slowing down a bit which is normal now that he's a little more mobile. He still hates tummy time and will dig his head into the floor and push himself forward with his feet. He has rolled over both ways, but does not do them daily or very often. His doctor says that's perfectly normal for big babies and I can remember stressing out about it when Ava was late with that milestone as well. He has turned into such a good boy---at Ava's party he was such a trooper. Not a peep out of him even though he was over tired and skipping naps. :) He's very much a mommy's boy at this point, but you figure I'm his only means of food and with him most of his waking hours. :) Most nights he's sleeping about 9 hours, eats and then goes back to sleep for another 3 hours or so. This is very good for an exclusively breastfed baby and should get better once he starts solids. :) Here are a few pictures I took of the little man last week. :)
Until next month!!
Love and Ava hugs,
Rachel
