Yesterday I took Greyson to the doctor for his 2 month checkup. It went well, minus the shots. He now weighs a ridiculous 16 pounds 8 ounces and is 24 inches long. That means in 3 and a half short weeks he has grown 2 inches (!!!!!) and gained over 2 1/2lbs (!!!!) His doctor said that he is the weight of a 9 month old and while he doesn't see many 20lb 3 month olds, Greyson may be one of them....or very close. I looked it up and Ava at 2 months old was 14lbs 4oz and was 18lb 9oz at her FOUR month checkup so he is definitely on his way to breaking the Valabek chunky monkey record. Everything is going well----the reflux is ok and I am allowed to take days and not give him his medicine to see if we can ween him from it by 4 months old. I'm supposed to just give it when necessary now instead of morning and night. We didn't give it to him last night and he seemed ok....then this morning he was super spit'up'y (is that a word?) and so I gave it to him. Next stop is mama eating dairy again...
His shots were painful---for me and for him. He was in a terrible mood last night but woke up my happy little man so I think the worst is over. He's turning into such a fun little person. I LOVE IT! Ok he's up now so I have to go, but i'll put up his real 2 month pictures later this week. Hope all is well!
