At the end of February, Maya came down to visit from NYC for a week. Ava fell in love with her and quickly learned how to say "Maya" and that her new best friend happened to live in our otherwise very empty and boring guestroom. For those of you who don't know who Maya is...she's the little 10 year old I babysat for when I lived in NYC. She is now 17 (almost 18) and an absolutely wonderful person. I like to think that I had a hand in that, but i'm pretty sure most of the credit will come down to her fabulous family. Anyways, enjoy the pictures!

It was also nice to have Maya around because there aren't a ton of Mommy and Ava pictures and she made sure to take a few. In fact she basically insisted. :)
On the weekend Mike, Maya, Ava and I went down to the beach to play in the fountain they have for the kids. Ava loves it there. Here she is eating her snack with mommy and daddy. :)
Me and Maya.....wasn't she just 10? Oh wait...i'm 30 now so yep, she's almost 18. Wow.
