Hi family and friends! :)
I know it's been a while since I updated this so i decided to take a second and let you know how the gorgeous little Ava Mae is doing. Today we went in for our 15 month checkup and i'm not going to lie....it was terrible. Not only did she have to get 3 shots but she had to get her blood checked for anemia. So they did the shots and of course she cried...then they had to prick her finger which was awful. Then as I was getting her dressed to leave the nurse came in and said that they had to re-do the blood test because they didn't get enough!!! So the poor girl got poked again. :( I was the happiest mommy in the world to leave. I may be sending Daddy next time.
Anyways the positives of the doctors visits are that our little lady is now 31 inches long (I think she may have been jipped an inch though because she was not liking the laying down and being still nonsense needed) and 23 lbs and 5 oz. That is the 75th percentile for length and 55th for weight. :) She is right on target for language and all of her other fabulous milestones. Even the picky eating one...I think that's about it for today but I will try to keep you all more up to date when things happen. For now, I hope you all have a healthy and happy Christmas and New Years....and we will see you in 2011!
