6 months old!

So I'm going to be completely honest right now---when i tried to sign in I had forgotten my password. That would mean that I am a terrible blogger and should probably try a little harder to update this thing. I'm sorry.
So hooray! Ava is 6 months old (and 3 days--since I'm a terrible blogger) and doing absolutely amazing. She is now weighing 19lbs 9oz and is 27 inches long. I think she may have been jipped a bit on the measuring though because she was quite the little squirmer when they pulled out their measuring tape. Oh well. The important thing is that she is growing like a little weed and is the happiest baby I have ever met.
Her favorite song is "The Wheels on the Bus" and her favorite game is "Peek-a-boo." She makes this new squealy sound that makes me giggle every time she does it and also makes the best faces---most of which have her tongue sticking out. :) Though this is my new favorite face of hers and the best part is is that it comes with a kisssy muah sound! :)
She has rolled over though i'm not sure she likes it much because it is few and far between. I think it's just a lot of work. She's almost 20lbs...that's a lot of baby to roll over. :) She does however sit up like a pro and loves to stand up. She isn't quite pulling herself up yet, but i'm pretty sure that will be very soon...time to baby proof!!! ahhh!
:) Ohhhh and she has 2 of her bottom teeth now. I think that there are a few more that are ready to pop up soon---we shall see. I feel terrible for her though--chewing on everything, not sleeping at night. Poor girl. I keep telling her that she needs them for that gorgeous smile of hers---while it's cute now being almost toothless, i'm not sure what it will look like on a 15 year old. She agrees and is being such a trooper. :)
This week we started her on solid foods too. Ha. In honor of St.Patricks day--her 6 month birthaversary--i started her out on peas because they are green. I know, i know...i was asking for it starting with something like that but it is now day 3 and I can tell you it's getting much better. I think that's about it on the Ava front. We have now moved into our new house and we are loving it. Ava has her own playroom and her very own light pink room. (thanks Mike for the 3 coats of primer and 2 coats of pink to cover the DARK GREEN nonsense that was on the walls) Honestly life is just fabulous and I couldn't ask for more. I'm such a lucky girl...
We love you,
Rachel, Mike & Ava
